November Newsletter

Happy November! HOOAH!
Spiritual growth and renewal are a continuing part of any
Christian walk., and believe it or not, God has (His) plans
for each and every one of us. As Christians, He has given
us gifts, talents, skills, and resources to be an active
member in the building of His Kingdom. To know God’s
plan for us, we need to simply pray…
LORD, what do You want me to do with the gifts You
have given me?
During this time of renewal, I’m asking each of you to take
some time in the days and weeks ahead to reflect on that
question. When many of us hear the word “stewardship”
we often think that it is all about money. That’s not the
case…Stewardship is all about doing what God wants us to
do with the gifts He has given us. The challenge is that we
can’t know what God wants unless we spend some time
every day communicating with Him.
As the end of the year is getting closer, I’d like to ask you
to do three simple things.
1. Make a commitment to spend time in prayer.
2. When you pray, be still and ask God what He
wants you to do.
3. Listen carefully.
God promises us that He will always give us all that we
need. I believe that is true for us as individuals and as a
Body of Christ. Our Church has great needs…volunteers,
teachers, prayer warriors, nursery workers, and much
more. Please ask God what He is calling you to do to build
up His Kingdom.
I truly thank God for each of you and I am praying for us
all as we continue to seek His wisdom and direction. I am
eagerly expecting God to move mightily among us!
Prayerful,
Bro. Cody
